About the event

In medieval Europe, in some countries during certain times, it was the custom of the Crown to allow their subjects one holiday where they could cut up, make fun of the government, mock the establishment, and generally make fools of themselves without legal repercussion. This tradition was the forerunner of our modern "April Fools Day". We have chosen to celebrate it in a slightly medieval fashion. Just as we did last year, we will be hosting a rattan armored tournament and a competition of period board and dice games. We will also reprise the "Foolish Brew" competition and the "Fools Mask" competition. This year, we are blessed to also be hosting the Kingdom of Alendia A&S Faire. There will be a casual sideboard at mid-day and a peasant feast for the evening meal for those who register on-board. Come and party with us... bring a friend. It's the most medieval fun you can have for under $20 (event fee is $10 off-board and $15 on-board; children 7-12 are half-price and 0-6 are free.)

This event has a group. You’re welcome to join the group once you register for the event.
